Random Thoughts....

So, what do you do when you get your hands on a new 27" iMac?

I IRC'd and watched Cliffhanger.

Does anyone want to hear a hilarious joke?

The Logies.

Edit: Apparently, looking "As though you've come straight from a robbery" is a complement on the Logies red carpet.

Why the heck are you watching that stuff? There's so much better TV of a Sunday night! MotoGp or Doctor Who for instance- I had to choose!

I've given up trying to brave through it, and the ceremony hasn't even started. I just find Karl Stefanovic a massive cockwipe. So now I'm watching Masterchef.

Woah, root beer tastes like medicine. Why do you Americans drink this stuff?

Less crying this time round, I'm impressed!

tis watching that too myself, waiting for The Good Wife (shut up, I know)

Shit, Claudia Karven has aged a lot. And is wearing the wrong hair colour and the wrong dress. And yes, I am watching the logies just for the hell of it.

i would have gone with "wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey" but each to their own.

... I don't get it.
/facepalming at myself

for those of who aren't in Oz at the moment. just what the smeg are the Logies?

Our version of the Baftas kinda, expet TV only, heaps more commercial and really crap. Just a big awards show for our mostly bad local programming with a lot of drunk and badly dressed celebs and even more drunken newsreaders/hosts.

I spent an hour trying to figure out why i couldn't solve this very simple equation:

I rock.

So I was talking to my dad earlier today about the difference in lyrics between older songs and newer songs.
The song choice might not have been the perfect one but in the very least the meaning is vastly better and more poetic in the older song.

How about a mix of both new and old?

Right monster but wrong Doctor. DT's Who used that phrase first in "Blink" but just as the appearance, personality and clothing changes with each regeneration, so do any catchphrases.

Heads over to Who thread.....
