No 56k: US-car season opening Lensahn (northern Germany)

Today a friend and me went to Lensahn for US-car season opening, and boy were we rewarded. We made a bunch of vids, too, I have to sort them out though, so the best ones will come later.

There were many current gen Mustangs, too, but I didn't take pics of them since they are sufficiently known.

P.S.: I love my digicam and especially my 8 GB memory card. I made 2,6 GB of pics and videos today...

Heh, since all those US cars weren't sold here, the people who went through all the trouble of getting them over to this side of the pond are probably going to be really enthusiastic about them, and care for them accordingly.

^this, And you wouldent believe the prices 'anything' classic American goes for secondhand.....I have seen standard 78 Mustangs in 'meh' condition, (who here wants an 78 Stang? anyone? didn't think so) go for 10.000+ euries.....
You can have 3 Capri's (witch was the Mustangs European counterpart basicly) in the same condition for that .

Well, that's because you are in the USA where all of those cars were made and sold but I am in Germany where very few of them were sold originally here (well, the current gen Mustangs and Dodge RAMs are imported by dealers but the lion's share of those cars had to be imported individually)

Show me pics of a car night dedicated to old/-ish european/german cars where you live (and where such masses of well preserved/restored cars are presented) and we'll talk again.

Your completely right. You don't see any rear drive Ford and Gm big cars on the roads anymore at all.
On my drive to work i am the oldest vehicle on the road. It's warming to see such appreciation for these cars and vans.
