AH! I just noticed I still have the original GTA 4. V 1.0.0.0 so my settings menu looks like this. Despite that I ran the benchy after replacing the mods and it works. End result? My computer can't do above 10 FPS!
My system specs can be found here
I did 5 benchs (Only application running was uTorrent. Every other thing was closed). First two are on the lowest possible settings. I wanted to see how the resolution affects the FPS.
I removed hardware details in the next few tests.
So I lost 1.31 FPS by running the game on the highest available resolution my VGA provides. Then I increased all the settings to see what my PC can really do. (Restart of GTA was also done due to Texture increment)
7 FPS. Not that great...Then I did a average settings bench.
So im stuck with 8. But thing I noticed is that except the very high settings benchmarks, my VGA is running at around 40% and my processor is working its butt off. (Sure the processor is the bottleneck) Is there someway to take some load off the processor?
And then the problem of updates. Is there one giant patch that can take me to the latest version and is pirate friendly? My GTA is ahem..accuired..
