I find french more similar to English than to Spanish. But i think Lurker will survive as long as he doesn't say me gusta el pene :p

Just got done watching "Inception", my God it's a bloody fantastic movie... Truly amazing.

standing at the airport watching people try and use the business class check in, then act all confused when the women says go away because theyre not flying business or are frequent flyers

The History Channel has always been "America Fuck Yeah!". If you want history watch something from the BBC or better yet buy a reputable book.
Yeah, but that's not the point. Read that text, it is brilliant.

I want to move to Melbourne. The question is though. Do Melbourne people like it there?

Fuck yeah.

eta: it's a city so shit's happening, awesome bars, live music out the wazoo and such, but it's chilled in the suburbs, it's pretty, we have awesome sporting events...the only thing I don't love is how bloody spread out it is. My boyfriend and I were going to go to a party in Craigieburn after going to Philip Island last weekend, but when we found out it was 60km away from where I live we stayed home instead.

I gave the kids some coffee candies and told them that their parents had told me that they might be getting a free kitten for them.

Good luck getting those kids to go to bed tonight.

Edit: Yup, and now I can faintly hear the kids blowing their vuvuzelas inside their apartment. Muahahahah....

Yes, but you have to be in the right place to enjoy it. And also have a lot more money so you can afford living there (my sister's finding out the hard way of living in a Upper Class area like South Yarra a bit difficult at the moment) and make sure you know where you're going cause traffic signs can be confusing.

what do you want to know? Melbourne's great for the most part, the worst thing we have going is how expensive everything is

That was one of the main things I'd like to know. What exactly is the expensive stuff? Like, food? Petrol? General living costs? Housing?

Fuck yeah.

Glad to see you like it :) Is public transport there good? I won't have a car to start with so I'm going to be relying heavily on it lol.

What would the right places be? I'm going to be working at Crown Casino. Which happens to be South Yarra? Convenient lol. Any places you'd reccommend living for affordable housing and enjoyment?

Thanks all :)

So it appears we have some new neighbours across the street. They have been playing very loud hip hop music pretty much everyday, usually with various Usher songs on repeat for hours at a time. The people who live next door to them are friends of ours, and the new residents had been parking their cars on the other properties lawn. The car is a Chrysler 300C Hemi, and the owner is a very burly Mauri man who, when informed that he was infact parking on someone elses lawn, simply replied "Yeah, and?" It appears he is only parking on the lawn as the garage is full of gym equipment and there are already a Subaru WRX and SS Commodore occupying the driveway.

I just hope I never have to go over there to tell them to turn the music down.

Learn where their external circuit breaker box is and purchase a cheap padlock. Stencil it with the logo of your local utility company.

I leave the rest up to your creativity. I recommend operating well after dark so as to avoid having to answer embarrassing questions from the residents in person.
