Is it just me, or is it turning into a generic sitcom? I'm finding I'm watching more of the scenery (checking out what is on the shelves) rather than what is actually going on. I was waiting for the punchline with the coat...and it never happened.

I was re-watching some of the old IT Crowd episodes on 4oD and was reminded just how much better they are than this series.

Which is odd. Most series peak around season 3.
