Look at the photo, with the wake it looks like someone is "unzipping" the ocean.
Haha, okay, that makes a lot more sense now.

Cruize ships always smell like old people to me........But I agree on the ocean liners, they were creatures of beauty.
I don't think its realy fair to call ocean liners cruize ships anyway ..... liners actualy served a transportation purpose, as in : at first they were the only way to get from Europe to NorthAmerica and back ,often carrying people looking for a new life.
While cruize ships serve to bring fat wealthy tourists to exotic beaches where they can act obnoxious while the locals starve 5 miles away......big difference.
I saw her the other day while I was on a visit on the MSC Orchestra in Oslo. Her sister ship, the AIDAblu is coming to Oslo tomorrow btw...did we have this?

QFT. Or put more simply, old money vs new money. Offer me the chance to go back in time and cross the Atlantic one of of those gorgeous old girls, dressing for dinner every night and savouring the quality of the service and the fixtures and fittings and I'll bite your hand off.
Give me the choice between a modern cruise ship and a week of waterboarding and other heinous tortures and I'd be strapping myself to that plank!
