BTW, can you get black flagged for "all 4 wheels off the track" if one wheel is not attached?

Though not attached, the 4th wheel was most certainly off the track.

Well I am STILL fucking stuck here in the south with my will to live diminishing by the moment. I want out of here so badly I can't see straight. The Buick is fixed but I'm not getting out of here any sooner than 8AM, nothing could suck more ass than this. Whenever I do finally make it home, I'll get to work on writing and pictures, I didn't expect to be here nearly this long.

Here's the wheel after it broke off. If you look closely you'll see the holes are distorted and some chunks are missing around the edges. This will teach us not to buy an aftermarket rim from a junkyard.

Another curious observation, I took the broken studs home and the stamping on the bottom on one of them doesn't match the others. Not sure if it'd been replaced before or something?

A grand many of the studs had been replaced at one point or another.The only one we replaced was on the other side, though.

At any rate, I have laptimes loaded up in Excel and I'm trying to find some sane way for people without a PhD to be able to interpret them.

Fun fact: Fastest laps 1-15 all belong to v0od0o in the dry with the exception of #5, which is Quiky. On rain tires. In a monsoon.

The car had a lot more left in it, it was just impossible to get a clean sector, let alone lap, with 100 other cars on a 1.1 mile track. I bet there were 2+ seconds to be had there on my "best" lap.

I don't know if you guys have heard the news, but this past weekend was Murilee's/Phil's last weekend at Jalopnik. He's not giving up LeMons or stopping the coverage, but it will no longer be posted on Jalopnik, the stuff from Texas a few weeks ago was the last of it. He will continue his normal updates and reports but for now they will appear on http://www.murileemartin.com/. If want something more details about his departure then I suggest checking this thread http://forums.24hoursoflemons.com/viewtopic.php?id=6325. He told me over the weekend he's talking to several websites so hopefully someone will pick him and his LeMons coverage up soon.
