Short holidays.

I am still in a position to enjoy my holidays (un-employed, full time student), the whole "work 'till you die" stage of my life hasn't started yet. But I've currently got a 2 week break from college, which sounds great, but it isn't.
Its now the end of week 1 and I've gotten used to periods of prolonged boredom and fucked my sleeping patten (I'm posting this at 3am btw), and just as I've settled in nicely to it all it'll be time for 6am starts and confusing college work again. <_<
 
My internet here at uni. During the day its fine, but come the evening it is incredibly slow. I resorted to watching a Youtube video on my phone because it loaded instantly on that as I get 3G signal here. But a wired internet network? No. Fuck. This. Shit.

I'm at a research led Uni just outside the second biggest City in the country. Cheers.

In all seriousness, if it really is that bad, what phone do you have? Android, Blackberry, Windows, and jailbroken iPhone should be able to tether to your PC one way or another.

Yeah its an iPhone but my provider bans tethering as they offer unlimited mobile internet (with no fair usage crap) as part of the deal. Also lol at the porn thing. Probably is as its sped up to about 1.8mbps now that everyones gone to bed. Speaking of which, I'm tired. :p

These stupid math sheets where you have to finish the joke to get a horrible pun. Like for example:

Humans are mostly self-motivating, taking a course on it is pointless. When something that is interesting or required, we muster up the energy to do it. :p

And at 7 AM on a morning I have my first class off and can sleep till 10, MORE SURPRISE ROADWORKS. I wake up to crashes and bangs and diesel exhaust coming in my window :|

And because people actualy wanted to do their job ,a job wich provides a service the community ! how dare they!

You do realise this 'classes' stuff isent gonna last and one day you will have to get a job right? ......that usualy involves getting up in the morning......
 
I'm mad because they are starting before 7 when they LEGALLY CAN'T and also working in the middle of the night when they also legally can't. The day I mentioned they started at 8 PM? they went until 11 PM. Then came back again at 6:30.

Also my complaint is I usually get up at 7 or earlier every day for class and to help my mother on Sunday, but today I was lucky to have the first class off and could have more than one day a week to sleep in an extra 2 hours.

Look love, the last little suburbian that wined to me about 'waking her up at 6' (wich is legal here) found her driveway blocked with 15 tons of gravel about 5 minutes later.........now she had something to complain about. :wave:

People have a job to do , let them do it and suck it up, its not like this will last forever.
Take my word for it, they would be much happier starting at 10 and finishing at 4........sadly that's not an economic reality ,as time = money.

Egoistical reactions like yours will be the reason I die 10 years to early.
