Show us your Lego!

Haha Christmas is Lego-Time.
Last year I got all my old train stuff from our attic and built a huge track, including bridge and tunnel.
I'll upload some pics when I'm at my parents place.
Also I still have the green truck and the old white rocket and several other huge Technic models I can't even remember.

I had a large off-road truck at one point but it came apart a long time ago.... the articulation on that thing was quite impressive.

best image I can find:

The steering wheel turned the wheels, the pistons moved in the engine, and it had three differentials :D

Holy shit I want that.

Of course. How hard can it be?

A quick looks tells me that if I want that exact kit, I have to shell out $400+, and $200 for an almost-the-same kit.

Well... yeah. It helps the 206CC and Z3M feel less uncool. But worry not, there are some less crappy cars in my collection.

I had a Diecast A-Class once.

Anyway, here are my two Lego Technic kits in their standard form.

I did have the Backhoe as a big Front Loader once, but i didn't like it so it was made backto the Backhoe.

I had a real A-class once. I actually have very fond memories of it. But it?s just not the sort of car I would ever buy a scale model of so that I can look at it.

My only Model Team set I have. Never once took it apart once it was together. I may get some of my Star Wars sets up later.

Am I the only one who builds the models once then assimilates all the parts into my collection?

Here's some of my recent(ish) stuff:

I wanted nothing more than the 8880 Supercar when I was a kid. Still have that in one of my catalogs somewhere, too.

There's one on eBay right now, supposedly brand new, and unopened...$999. I feel like pulling a James May and building it entirely in one sitting.

Wait a few months, there is a new version of it coming out this year, looks promising , and won't break the bank :p
