Yes, it is, but in 1932 it was modified to conventional propulsion, see the wikipedia-article.that one is only driven by the propellor? no power is send to the wheels?

I agree with everything you said in that post.Well, it is possible to build regular trains tracks elevated, too. It just isn't done because it's too expensive. They did it with the Transrapid exactly because of it's speed.
Even the ICE reaches its top speed only on very few sections
