What's your latest [non-technology] purchase?

The one we have is about 20 years old and half dead, most of the time it doesn't even turn on.

You can use gas for grilling meat? Isn't that almost as bad as wrapping the grate in tinfoil so that the smoke doesn't get to the meat?

Around here propane is pretty much the standard for that sort of thing, I've only used a handful of charcoal grills... so yes, I'd say it's pretty normal and safe to use.

I'd say most if not all Aussie BBQ's are gas. The smoke messes with the shrimp see...

BBQ's are my least favourite part of summer.

Living in a small apartment it's really not that pleasant smelling and hearing other people grill all summer long.
