Not only is it shitty, but it seems silly to me to think that the song would even be heavy enough to wake anyone up.
 
The only thing that stopped me once from falling asleep while listening to music was hitting the volume up button on my Shuffle with my elbow.

I got some music off a friend and put it on my iPod. I don't know how the fuck he can listen to it but the volume is instantly 3 times louder than any other song. Soundcheck does nothing, either. It's bloody annoying when you're falling asleep, and also annoying when you're on the bus, casually listening to normal volume music, then all of a sudden the next song comes on and everyone on the bus turns and looks at you with your violently vibrating earphones and bleeding ears, while you fumble around in your pocket for your iPod. Deleted that shit the next day, can't stand when that happens.
