that's a rare sight! all the ones i've come across, had a body panel crack somewhere. looks like they break faster than a metal car rusts...

Saw this car in the street while sitting at school. I just had to go and take a closer look, because I just couldn't identify it. I was pretty surprised to see the De Tomaso logo in the front. Looked to be in rather good shape, it had some classic car club sticker in the front and a child seat in the back, big thumbs up if this Longchamp is someone's daily driver

First new Ford Grand C-Max I see IRL. Looks like a 90's korean car. And it looks smaller in every way than the previous generation.

Nice Audi A3 Cabriolet:

And an old Saab 900 in a good condition. And it's up for sale:

That's the first time I heard of that car, I hope I won't see it much since ... well, look at it...
It looks very similar to the facelifted S-Max, only more ugly and smaller, like the Audi Q7 and Q5...

According to wikipedia, the normal C-Max is 1 cm shorter, but 4 cm higher than the old one, the Grand C-Max is 13 cm longer and 10 cm higher than the old one. I think it looks smaller because the front and rear lights are differently shaped so they disguise the size of the car.

So I''m having to stay with my mum as she is having a minor shoulder op and needs help for a few days afterwards. Got here last night and this beauty was in the basement garage......

No signs of restoration/overspray and an odometer reading of a little over 12k miles...

That's not a real XK. It's a reproduction kit car built using an XJ Series III as a donor.

The last pic is the giveaway. Those are late Series III Veglia gauges and (I think) an XJ6S2 shift quadrant. Real XKs used Smiths chronometric gauges, for starters... And the Smiths gauges are centered up instead of directly in front of the driver (as some kits have them, but they got it right here.)

Edit in progress, trying to figure out which kit that is. Edit 2: I think that's the Nostalgia Cars kit. Not a bad one if so. The Jaguar-authorized Aristocat by Autotune Ltd is a better car (IMHO) and uses more XJ parts, but it looks more like a 150. If you want an XK120 replica, the Nostalgia one is the way to go.

Ah, that would explain the condition and the rather too modern switches between the seats. I was a tad puzzled but the number plate would be pre-1963 which is when we introduced letters to indicate the age.

Normally if there is a donor car the DVLA require you to retain that plate on the kit vehicle which for a series III XJ would be between '79 and '92. Wonder how whoever built the thing managed to get around that? Unless of course he paid for the plate separately.

You can get them factory built - perhaps he did it that way. http://www.nostalgiacars.co.uk/jaguar_full_details.html

If anyone's interested in the Aristocat: http://www.autotuneuk.com/aristocat.html

I can think of worse things to dump money into buying/building. Those are really nice cars to drive; I'd rather have one of those than something like a Miata or BMW M roadster.

Sweet Sunbeam Tiger - british roadster with american V8, just like the Cobra. I had the privilege to be a passenger in a Tiger with 400 bhp, and boy was that spectacular...

An MG TF all the way from Coahuila, Mexico.

https://pic.armedcats.net/s/sh/shawn/2011/04/28/IMG_20110427_175850.jpg

Did they officially sell MGs in Mexico? That would make this sighting slightly less strange.
