On a randomly semi-related note, the university I attend has the only Chick-Fil-A in all of New York State! \o/ I like to point that out whenever my sister mentions that hers has the only Taco Bell in Boston.
 
There is only one taco bell in boston? :blink: That is odd, there are so many surround it.
 
I thought it was odd, too, but apparently this is a fact. :dunno:

o_O I remember only ever going to that one Taco Bell, but it never registered that it was the only one in Boston. If she's referring to the one in BU, though, it's closed now.
 
No, it's the one in Northeastern. IIRC, BU isn't in Boston proper, but on the fringe of it. (Also there's a huge rivalry between BU and Northeastern, but that's besides the point.)

Technically Allston is in Boston proper, but it does stick out west of the rest of the city. Don't remember much of a rivalry between BU and NE when I was there; most of the rivalry was with BC hockey. Then again, as a grad student I wasn't really aware of college sporting rivalries anyway.

I played Marathon 1 & 2 demos, and we had Marathon Infinity on all our family Macs :-d

You know you can get Marathon 1,2,durandal and rubicon all for free from Bungie right? I've been hittin that shit up before I hit the bed these days.

Here's the main trilogy: http://trilogyrelease.bungie.org/
The best way to get it actually might be here (bungie links to it from their site): http://marathon.sourceforge.net/

Here's Marathon Rubicon: http://www.marathonrubicon.com/

Just make copies of AlephOne (which is required for playing) and put them in the respective marathon folders. Click on the AlephOne exe file to run it!

Very true, I love how lost you can get in marathon levels. The only way you know you've already been there is by the litter of dead bodies everywhere. And then sometimes you gotta head back to the terminal at the very beginning in order to get to the next level.

It's like linear but not really...

Damnit I need to work, must not think about playing marathon! :p
