For reference here is someone else's 13B swap.

While I am at it, this is what the car would have looked like from Abingdon:

Firing up, catching on fire same thing. :p

Alas my Midget will look something like this soon:

I have to say, and I've always though this, putting that plastic air intake pipe there was a stupid idea (as anyone who's ever had that plastic strap break will testify to, accompanied by the soundtrack of shredding plastic).

Speaking of entropy, I bought two new tie rod ends and a new master clutch cylinder.

Have to say, I love love love the DCOE intake/carb :)

Bitchin' Sir.

Too bad about the bumpers though.

I drove it to Les Schwab for an alignment and tire change. The brake master cylinder needs replaced desperately. Gearbox wise first and second gear are incredibly short ( '86 RX7 gear box with a 4.22 MG rear end). This would be less of an issue if my $250 tachometer worked most of the time, which it does not.

There are teething issues, but they should be fixed sometime early next week.

Here is shot of the side of the engine showing the exhaust. Note the carb heater.

It has now begun use as a daily driver.

Thoughts so far. It is loud. I've also stalled it about a million times due to the lack of torque. :p

Congrats! We need video now!

What sort of exhaust do you have on it? I don't think it can be much louder than my old Jeep.
