But I am now pretty pissed as i have a big dent in the rear boot from something and dent specialist says its basically impossible to get it back to 100%

shame about the dent :(
apart from that impressively clean car, i like it. even the rims work very well - i myself wouldn't change anything

I do quite like this shape in the Statesman/Caprice... 16" rims seem a tad small though, how do they handle such a car riding them?

A nice marriage of TVR and Holden technologies. I like it!

I would like bigger rims but I wouldnt be going bigger than 18.

The reason Holden went for 16's would be for comfort. Its a really nice rice. But yeah I am killing the tyres quite quickly.

O.k So last few days Ive had a problem with the car shaking at idle, So new spark plugs and leads, Reset ECU and went for a test drive, All good until Coolant low started flashing at me, pull over, steam pouring out from under the bonnet now, trail of water up the street, My radiator decided to give way.

Managed to get it to the workshop my friend works at and we were able to get a new radiator from Repco (they had one in stock luckily) at 11am on a Saturday and managed to get it changed over in the workshop.

Not a fun day.

So today i dusted off my G-Tech and decided to do a few runs, managed a best run of 6.95 seconds 0-60MPH (97Kph). Not bad for a standard engine with no mods and a 1.8 tonne car

Video: You cant read the the LED due to the gopro unfortunetly.

Nice car, I like big bulky sedans with large engines.

I was driving on Presidents Ave in Miranda the other week and I saw a black Statesman had completely obliterated a Yaris that appeared to come out of a side street. The Statesman had white-on-black plates as well, I thought you might have killed it for a while

Nice photos! You were game parking the rear wheels in the wet sand.

That aerial makes it look very official.

Edit: just realised there's a boat ramp there. Derp. Still, you're braver than me :p
