There's no problem in selling a lifestyle, even with a bad product, as long as the customer is clearly aware that you are trying to sell the lifestyle and not pushing them into some emotional trickery.

As a former Harley owner, they definitely try emotional trickery. See that H-D sales guide I reposted on the last page.
Hey, I can't even do a burnout. Of course, I've never tried to, but I'm too scared of dropping it. Maybe when the next tires need to be replaced I'll give it a shot.
Not interested in wheelies though, too hard on the forks and chain.

You mean the fact that they are riding a Harley?Okay, it's just a simple lowside. It happens to the best of us. But the idiocy here, was a mistake that both rider and passenger made before even getting on the bike.

HD look cool (for the most part) there is no denying that but the quality/performance is just not there.While I am not a fan of the larger Harley bikes some of their smaller offerings have their appeal.
