got my 20d today,
had the Elan7E since it's release (3 years ago?)...it's served me well and taught me alot
been waiting to get a 20d for while now...
can't wait to start using it...battery is charging up now...
and my memory cards will be coming in tomorrow i think (2x 512 San Disk Extreme III's, why 2 instead of 1x 1gig card? cause i had a CF card fail on me on a trip and then i was shit out of luck...)

i'm happy...gonna keep this lens for now, get some of my other lenses from friends that are borrowing it, then upgrade later...

it feels very fast so i like it, i already hit 44MB/s during a sequential write, and got sustained speeds 34-42MB/s..
 
I just got a new Senseo. Its not the perfet coffee, but its perfect if you sit all day in your room to learn...

Hmz, I'm more into perfectdraft ;-)

although it could have some minor influences on the learning performance :/
 
If you buy the aftermarket ones, its 1,69 Euros for 18 pads, so its not that bad... Original ones are 3,29 for 18.

The deal is: I sit on my desk in Regensburg 6 to 8 hours a day learning, and with the Senseo I don't have to make coffee with our slow ass machine three times a day, but I get my 5 cups a day directly at my desk and completly fresh...

Sure its gonna be more expensive... Up until now my roommate always bought the coffee, since he drinks it a lot and makes it sooo strong, that my use wasn't even one quater of the bag ;-)

@CyberMonkey: Perfect Draft is awesome, but the kegs are hugely expensive, and so is the machine... And then the beer doesn't stay fresh for a whole month as they advertise, right? I mean, a Keg in 5 days is average for me and my friends (we calculated yesterday that we drink 230 litres of beer each year, big celebrations like a months party afert graduation excluded... Average is 120 in Germany, I believe:bangin:)

But still... ;-)
 
They are indeed quite expensive :/ I wouldn't mind spending 200 euro's on a quality machine (which it is), but the kegs are expensive and too big for keeping fresh a long time and too little for special occasions...
 
I am sooo going to buy a Perfect Draft, as soon as I get my own apartment! :D

The kegs are not cheap, but I don't think they're too expensive. And you're right about the size, not big enough for a party. You could buy a couple though, but then there's the issue of cooling them... And as Buba rightfully suggested, freshness will not be an issue, because there's no way one keg would last ~5 weeks. Not on my watch! :lol:

yes indeed, but my motherboard only supports SATA, not SATAII.
 
For Christmas I got the best thing I have ever gotton

LG VX 9800
or The V

The reason that I get it is becuase it is an Ipod, camera, and phone in One
I also got a 1GB miniSD card for it
