Imagine being so happy that you run to be a legislator to spread the happiness of not having any free charging like his district. I can understand why he would want to spend his time working on that issue. After all his constituents* live in terror of the ONE public charger at the hospital.

*One constituent is a company that sells and installs EV chargers
