Spot Them Beater Cars

Now this is more of a commercial beater, a Mercedes E-class estate (no longer) used as a taxi, rust on the wheel arch, collapsed suspension, taxi sign taken away, so this is most likely done.

Perhaps not so much of a beater, but these old mk IV Ford Escorts are rare these days, with most having being scrapped years ago. Here is one of the convertibles.

I can already see that it has these exact chavvy 'Lexus' type lights.

Otherwise a nice example of a rare car now. I can't believe they didn't even fit clear side repeaters to match the rears though.

I can think of a reason. Let’s say one of the rear light clusters failed, and they needed a new item. These spares are likely very hard to come by, even at the breakers, so the chavvy F&F style after market clusters available at the likes of Halfords are probably all you can get without too much effort.

That being said, my dad still managed to get some spare parts (not cheap) for his 1979 Capri 3,0 from the local Ford dealer.

It's possible, not sure how the old Ford parts market is in Norway. I have to be a pedant and say that it's a Mk6 Escort, I know because I've been looking up Mk4 recently to find the model my grandad had. :p

Interesting. This is a 2013 or newer car absolutely run to the ground. Feels like this picture is from 2032 not 2022. Feels wrong seeing this :D

That Land Rover has Seen Some Shit.

That is the funkiest looking top I have ever seen on a Jeep. How do they see where they are going through the windshield?

Old flat fenders are tiny, that high window is right in front of your face.

Seen yesterday:
A mild case, but still, according to the Autobahn-Vignette this Lotus Esprit V8 was the last time on the road in 2021.
