Im guessing at this point there is no hiding that Brexit was a huge error.

It has become a religion and hence, the question of “Mistake or not?” is no longer relevant. The believers may squabble and fight among themselves, but the foundation of their shared belief is strong and resilient.

Tonight's Conservative Party leadership debate between Liz Truss and Rishi Sunak has been scrapped after presenter Kate McCann fainted during the live broadcast. Ms Truss held her hands to her face and said "oh my God" after a loud crash was heard - and then the contest was taken off air. TalkTV said Ms McCann is "fine" but that the channel had been given medical advice not to continue.

With the tension and threat of Russia continuing it's aggressive tendencies it wouldn't be a bad time to say: "we can't afford to not rejoin the EU and strengthen the western alliance against authoritarianism"

Probably take a while before a Government is elected on that ticket. Scotland will probably be independent before that.

From the Tory leadership debate on BBC:

Don't be a spoil sport 😜

Great and the good celebrate Boris and Carrie Johnson's wedding at festival-style party

In the idyllic grounds of an 18th century country estate in the heart of the Cotswolds, the Johnsons celebrated their wedding party surrounded by family and friends.

"Eco-friendly" South African food was on offer, and guests could enjoy the scenery while relaxing on hay bales set up around a large marquee.

Rum punch was also available to guests, as was barbecue chicken and beef with salad. Handmade ice-cream from a family run dairy farm in the Peak District was also served, adding to the laid back atmosphere at Daylesford House, Gloucestershire.

Asking a similar question:

Brexit is a flop, and the voters know it. So why can’t Labour call for a closer bond with Europe?

The result of the referendum cannot be ignored, but a bespoke deal with the EU has to be pursued if we are to avoid a shrinking economy

Asking a similar question:

Brexit seems like a continuous process of self punishment till the UK allows itself to accept fundamental reality.

I would have thought one of the two conservatives running for PM would stake out a position to moderate the Brexit shit for the long term viability of the party. However; after watching the debates I feel as both are missing political ability that will lead to them being fairly quickly replaced.
