Last weekend I went to the 2022 Porsche festival at Rudskogen raceway, about one hour south-east of Oslo. The event featured a display of lots of Porsches, as well as some track action with the Scandinavian Porsche Cup, a display of historic Porsche cars running around the track, a 944/924-Cup as well as a Nordic GT-racing series.

This GT2 RS Clubsport was in one of the pit garages:

Out on the track, there were GT3 Cup cars, featuring the guest appearance of Dennis Hauger who is in F2:

A bit thin on the 997s, but there was a 997.1 GT3 that had some Manthey Racing bits on it, and a Cup car:

Then comes the 991s, starting with a 991.1 GT3 RS, then a GT2 RS:

A 935:

Then there was these two impressive 917 replicas, built with original schematics, the only thing missing was the flat-12, as according to the guy who built it, that would have tripled the cost of the build:

The Mission R concept car was also there:

More to come...

My gosh, I'm in love.

Oh, all parsh are good.

There was a nice collection of transaxle (the 911 also technically has a transaxle, but you know what I mean) Porsches there, many 944s, some 924s and a couple of 928s.

A tastefully modified 944 together with a 964 Carrera RS

A tidy original 944 with the original "tele dial" wheels:

A 944 Turbo with some body kit and 993-style split-rims:

And now, some race cars, found this in one of the pit-garages:

This one appeared in the parade:

A very nice and tidy race car (with number plates) out on the track with the characteristic Brumos Porsche livery:

And finally, a couple of 928s. The first one is a very rare early 1977 car, pre production and was used as a press car originally. It has a five-seed-manual:

A 928 GT, which unusually for the 928 was only available with a manual, the lack of the fender stripe on the side gives it away as a GT:

Oh my gosh, I love that purple 944 with the flowers! It's SO GOOD.

The Porschelump would feel right at home, haha.

Now, lets take a look at some of the static displays.

The first one of these was a very clever one with a 60s 911 put up against a 992, separated by some spaced out mirrors:
