Elon Musk Spoke to Putin Before Tweeting Ukraine Peace Plan: Report

The world’s richest man spoke directly with Vladimir Putin, Eurasia Group’s Ian Bremmer reported. Musk denied the report in a tweet.

WTF :wall:

And then...

Does anyone else find it funny that Musk's satellites had problems right about the same time? I wonder if that would be a violation of sanctions.

For the moment it might be charitable to say the front line was moving fast, and UA depend on it.

Starlink is undergoing evaluation by the US Army.

Also, Logan Act, questions about American company ownership and government contracts...

FT report that issues with Starlink have decreased in the last few days.

Some speculation that it may be more to do with Starlink geographic restrictions, than Russian jamming.

^ Looks like two different trucks.

Anyway it was probably a missile:

There are also other sources that are funding Ukraine's use of starlink, Poland being the largest. The USA also was an early source of funding despite Musk tweeting that he was giving the systems and service to Ukraine.

Musk just can't take any sort of criticism and is throwing a tantrum.

While Musk does seem manage by tantrum, SpaceX wrote to the Pentagon a month ago about this:

Documents obtained by CNN show that last month Musk’s SpaceX sent a letter to the Pentagon saying it can no longer continue to fund the Starlink service as it has. The letter also requested that the Pentagon take over funding for Ukraine’s government and military use of Starlink, which SpaceX claims would cost more than $120 million for the rest of the year and could cost close to $400 million for the next 12 months.

Today's tantrum is positive 🌻
