Each time I am trying to shop for normal basic clothing in a place that is not a highly specialized (and highly priced) boutique, it's a fuckup. Tried to buy a simple pair of black chinos at
Stockmann, the local slightly upmarket department store. Menwear department is rather small, organized by brands (I can explain all the commercial upsides to this, but as a customer it's still annoying), and in the end I am stuck in a fitting room with a far too small selection of chinos that all have in common that I don't like them.
So now I ordered a selection from my former employer
Zalando and they'll all arrive here, shipped for free, in a few days. Is the ordering-and-returning stuff stlighly wasteful and not so kind to the environment? Maybe, but then fucking brick and mortar stores should step up their game, otherwise they'll go the way of the dodo soon.
