If you don't already know about the excellent live gig resource that is www.fabchannel.com , then check it out - it rules.

Anyway, I'm starting this thread because I've decided to rip some of the fabchannel streams as MP3s so that you can listen to them at your leisure. So, I thought I'd post here in case any of you are interested in them. It's a great way to find new artist, new music, or just to bulk up your collection with some high quality music.

My first rip is here: http://www.mininova.org/tor/243065

It's a Damien Rice concert from 15-08-2003 - it has the following songs:

CD1
1. The Professor & La Fille Danse
2. Volcano
3. Delicate
4. Woman Like A Man
5. Cannonball
6. Shooting Star
7. Amie

CD2
1. The Blower's Daughter (Part 2)
2. The Blower's Daughter
3. Me, My Yoke and I
4. I Remember
5. Eskimo
6. Face
7. Cold Water
8. Hallelujah

I've also included some CD covers that I put together.

Anyway, those who are interested, please enjoy, and please leave me some feedback. Also, does anyone know why my torrent doesn't have any info with it?

Well, what kind of music is this? Surely sounds interesting!

//edit: you have to move the semicolon in the fabchannel link a bit...

cheers, fixed the link (it's a comma btw ;)) - the music style of Damien Rice is probably best described as either Acoustic Rock or perhaps Alternative Country/Folk (Americana?)

I adore it personally - that's why I chose to do this gig first.

Ahh... semicolon = ; comma = ,

School was a loooong time ago...

That's pretty cool resource, thanks

I really enjoy live performances, even if listening from a record. Gives the music kind of a personality. Especially when you listened to studio record long enough to know every detail.
