OK ive tried enough now its your turn, im going to the city tomorow with my friends and i need to know how to play with bots using LAN

It's easy. One person on your LAN starts a singleplayer game, then everyone else connects to his local IP. I've done it many times with my brothers Sometimes it's better to play against bots anyway since there are so many LAMERS out there....

However, it used to be that you could only use 16 player maps for single player games, but that may have changed with the new patch, I haven't played for awhile. But if it hasn't, there are quite a few CO-OP mods that allow you too play on larger maps in single player mode with a lot more bots, something like this for example:
