All these photos are really sweet! I love this thread!

Well, went out on bike again today (yesterday was the first time I've used it in 6 months due to an injury so now making the most of it again! :)) and took a couple more photos.

Wasn't gonna have this as my first photo from today, but thought I'd kinda answer Ryosuke's previous question. Yes, my tyres are fat. With good reason... ;)

And Iben, yes the DoF is a little small, but unfortunately with my camera (olympus mju 410) I have no control at all. Just to get that I was lucky. I really must buy a better camera to compliment the P&S but the olympus is great for cycling/snowboarding, etc as it's weatherproof... :) perfect for yesterday and today as it was raining both days. The Olympus is an extremely robust camera (been dropped, stood on while on, dunked in sand and water... :)) and that's why I still use and love it... :) (but photo quality is definately a far cry from my EOS film camera)

Anyway, I'm afraid I had to do a bit of post-processing on this photo. My camera decided to add a yellow tint to most of the photos today (I tried changing white balance but it wasn't behaving itself) so as well as add the border and name, I had to adjust the colours slightly... sorry. (but it does look better for it)

enough of that, time for this:

Damn Dakmis, that's cool! What plane is that? I'm amazed the window itself isn't dirty (as surely dirt and fingerprints would've shown up in a macro photo? )!

How far back were you? (as being right at the back is never fun...)

Nice photos everyone. Looking at this thread makes me so tempted to just run out and buy a better camera... In fact, maybe I'll go do that now.

monkeymax: I like this photo! Sorry about the DOF comment, I'm kinda spoiled in that regard.

I stole a flash last night and went to a dance. It was quite fun:

Ok, so how do you post pictures up like you guys do it? I'm using imageshack but I don't know how to display the picture on this forum like you guys do it.

Edit: Figured out how to post images.

Nice photo JMiller!

It's officially a new day, so a new photo. Fresh, right out of the SD card :)

Experimenting with "different" angles:

Excellent. I like it. For someone still "new" to taking pictures? It's out of this world.

Use the last URL in the ones imageshack provides (Direct link to image) and enclose it in img tags like this
Code:
[img]IMAGESHACK_DIRECTLINK_URL[/img]

Use the link at the bottom that says 'direct link' and paste that between img tags, like this

Edit: Beaten to it :p

Another one from the bike ride. Probably last one.
Glad I was wearing gloves else this wouldn't have stuck to me!
