Some amazing photos again from everyone!
Tanks are great, aren't they BeserkerCatSplat? :)

My last one from the Italian Market. This shot had to be brightened in Photoshop. It's not stunning, but this was my favourite stall of all of them - and everyone else's favourite by the looks of it... I could never really get as close as I want as it was always crowded!
He was selling Oils (food) and Vinegars, btw.

Got something different for tomorrow.

Edit: Just thought I'd point out even though it doesn't look crowded here, this was my 4th ( ? ) attempt as I was being pushed earlier on by people wanting to get to the stall...

OK, here's the next one in the series:

You know it's nearly summer when you get views like this:

You can get an even better shot of the mountain if you go immediately after a rain storm or a period of rain. That is when the atmosphere has the least amount of particulates and as a result, a more clear shot. If at all possible. Nonetheless a very nice shot.

I'll go out on a limb and say that's a bonfire, just as someone has thrown something on it (like a log) to make the sparks fly up in the heat current.

I know they're driving a lot of heavy SUV's in North America, but what exactly is that :p

Great shot, I'm only irritated by the car in the background - you didn't see it on public roads, did you?

Nah, it's parked on a WWII bridge outside our local Museum of the Regiments, which happens to be a stone's throw from the local skateboard/BMX park I was taking photos at. The van was parked in the most inopportune spot in the parking lot, but there wasn't much I could do to get rid of it.

my first attempt at panning, out of over 100 in a 45mins session, I only have one worthy of this thread:

Yeah, it's difficult isn't it... :?

Anyway, here's another Summer photo. Technically it's not very good, but I liked it anyway.

And jayjaya, thanks for the hints. It's actually Mt. Baker, in the US. Most of the time you can't see it with the naked eye, so to be able to capture it with my camera is even rarer. I wasn't specifically trying to take photos of the mountain, just happened to stop on the way home from skiing.

Ahh gotcha. Guess you got lucky then. The fishing shot is not bad, but I think the boat in the background ruins it for me.

flamingice: That's sweet you're skiing so late! My girlfriend might be heading out to BC to coach at a summer skiing camp and I'm a little envious!

Some sweet shots from everyone else as usual!

Well, saw this on Saturday too. It's a good test for monitors I think - red is a hard colour for monitors as it is, and my monitor (Iiyama CRT) is supposed to be really good, yet you can see sort of stress lines when I look at the larger version of this image at full res...!) Took a few photos but eventually decided on my favourite...:

Runners up (because as I said I had difficulty deciding, perhaps someone will prefer one of the alternatives...):
One (small) | One (large)
Two (small) | Two (large)

Edit: CarSightings - how do you persuade these girls to pose for you (smile and all) without them thinking you're some 16 year old making your own private glamour photo collection? :)

W00t!!!! Took me about 50 tries for this shot with my new 1 day old Canon Digital Rebel XT. I must start going out and taking pictures!!

Anywho, this shot was taken in my room infront of my 2005fpw lcd. The problem with my room is.... it's extremely low lit. It's lit by only one energy saving light bulb so that's about equivalent of a 40W or 50W. Anyways, I tried my best to satisfy you critics out there.

Obviously the Crumpler man is not well lit but I didn't feel like fixing the other light bulb.

AxlxA's got his 350D! Woohoo!
Looking forward to the results!

I was almost going to ask what that thing in the foreground was, it looks a little strange. The photo may be a little underexposed for the foreground object - did you use a tripod?

v0od0o - that e-type is... just... well....
Just what I was thinking, more photos of that E-type and other cars in the dealership are here http://www.v0od0o.org/Photos/0422/

I made sure to snap those tickets on the cars for price inquiries, this specific one is a red 1968 E-type Series 1 for $15,500 plus tax and licensing fees (around 10%) :)

That E-Type certainly is yum! $15,500 sounds cheap to me though (not that I really know the value of E-types...)

Another one from Saturday:

I prefered the background of this one (larger vers) but the wire itself isn't completely sharp unfortunately (particularly as this one has a cool web on it...). Oh well...
