A member of the company?s extreme-performance G-series family of peripherals for PC gamers, the Logitech G25 wheel offers advanced features which, until now, could be found only in specialized or custom-made racing simulators that sometimes cost thousands of dollars to assemble. These features include a six-speed gated shifter and clutch pedal; two high-torque force-feedback motors; an 11-inch wheel; and a full 900 degrees of rotation. The wheel, shifter and pedals are made with premium materials such as stainless steel and leather, delivering the look and feel of parts from a race car cockpit.

The Logitech G25 Racing Wheel is compatible with current racing titles, such as rFactor? and Live for Speed...

Not very cheap though, $299.99. Sound nice on paper, looks like logitech finally realized they need to use better materials and make their racing products a bit more robust. We'll have to wait for some tests though (once its out), to see if this is indeed as good as it sounds. :)

judging from the reactions, thats the wheel everybody was waiting for. as of yet, there have only been rather affordable ones and those hand made specialists ones you had to sell your kindey for.

i just hope its not too limited...i want one. :D

Accelerator and brake pedals too far away though - no heel to toe! :?
Looks sweet though - maybe when it comes down a bit in price (haven't used my current wheel in a while as it is...)

I don't think they are far away. Also look at the shape of the pedals, brake is a bit wider on top, accelerator wider on bottom, so heel toe should be fine imo. :)

I also like the bigger diameter, 24cm for DFP 30cm for this, should feel way better than the current toy sized wheels. :)

well, logitech claims that heel and toe is possible so it should be. remember, those are still home-sized pedals. they probably need that distance to allow for heel and toe.

I wonder how long that 6-speed shifter will last...
its not a cheap set...and logitech has already used metal internals in the dfp wheel (sadly not in the pedals) so they are aware of the problems with cheap plastics.

man that looks sweet and 299 isn't bad at all when you consider 3 pedals and the shifter

Frickin' sweet!

OMFG I H-Pattern box and a cluctch pedal and the ability to choose which side you have the 'box on.

OMFG I LOVE YOU LOGITECH!!!!

You just made my day Pete. I am SO saving for this. As a package deal it is very affordable.

Umm, my Momo is up for sale, heavily used though ;).

looks like my DFP will be religated to back up status in october...

omg... when i first read the news on logitech's website, i dind't see that it had a clutch pedal and that was my only beef with it. Now i know there is a clutch.... I SOOOOO WANT THIS!!!

TOo bad it's 300 bucks. I can probably buy an Xbox360 or atleast 5 hrs w/ a prostitute with that money.

This wheel will beat any prostitute, AxlxA :).

Plus this wheel will work on the PS2 as well ;).

For Sale: Logitech Driving Force Pro

Get outa your homes and get a real car, its exactly the same now

But seriously...thats fucking sweeet!!! I gotta save up and get me one of those. The DFP seems dull in comparison with its noisey turning action.

Only small issue is I do think the pedals are a bit to far away from each other for some heel and toe action....but we'll have to wait and see.

Ooooo, that looks good
