Diecast Models

A quick question to my fellow diecast collectors! Would you get a Corvette C6 Z06 in red or yellow? Some just came into stock from my source and I'm just wondering about the colour...

I'm thinking yellow because I don't have a yellow car in the collection and it would really stand out but red looks awesome too.

I can't decide :dunno:

Yellow

Yellow gets my vote.

It is the colour that they are always when they test drive them and I generally like to get cars in the popular colours.

^Yeah same...yellow it is. Red looks good to the non-car enthusiast because red = speed but to us...yellow is better cos we saw Tiff drift in it

I'll place an order for it when I get up in the morning :D

[dumbass] You should just get a Ferrari 360, it's got more of a racing pedigree and you don't have to deal with the ghey leaf springs [/dumbass]

I see what you mean though.... red and yellow both look good.

the black edge around the yellow's headlights is :yucky:

the Corvette is great

I got some new stuff during the last weeks:

Here are two pics of the new cars. I finally got back from holiday to them. Note that theres also an SL55 which I got nice and cheap O/S.

Now I gotta find somewhere to put them as my cabinent is really filling up! I'll take heaps of pics in the day time when I get a chance. The two AutoArts have incredible detail...

The Z06 is really a drem

I got one more again. Got it from my cousin and his girlfriend for my birthday. Maisto 1/24 67 Mustang Hot Rod...pretty cool. Will post pictures once I clear everything off my camera.

Happy birthday Lucas

Most of them are made by Minichamps. The M5 and the 512 BB are made by Kyosho, the Integra is by AA and the Spyker by Replicars.

Between the Lambo and the Spyker are:

Opel Monza
Opel Senator

some Opels are sold under Vauxhall in UK or Holden in Austr.

But I?m not sure wheter the Monza or Senator were sold outside germany

No need. It was on June 28th. Long time ago.

I am currently looking for a scale model of the Morgan Roadster, this one right here.

I have no experience with buying scale models online and I dont know much vendors, apart from the names. I tried googling around, but no results so far. scale size doesnt really matter, I am very flexible in this case. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I usually use http://www.biante.com.au to find if a model exists and what company makes it, but I don't usually buy from them as they are more expensive then most stores.

A quick search on the site shows me these Morgans.

MORGAN - 4/4 (Yellow) 1:43 (Status: In Production)

This looks like the one you are after...pity about the colour. And personally I'm a 1:18 scale man. :)

MORGAN - AERO 8 - Black (2005) 1:43 (Status: Development Approved)

As you are in Germany I would use sites like this to find what company makes Morgan models, in this case there appears to only be one model available, and then go to local model stores etc. and ask for that exact model. Most stores where I live if they don't have the model you want and you can tell them the company that makes it they will happily order it in for you.
