It's a 3.5L V6 that puts out 200KW (282BHP) on regular unleaded fuel and can have a total output of 204KW on Premium.

I gotta say it's very good looking for a Toyota! People who know nothing about cars but want something sporty will go for this. People who do know something about cars knows that this is the same as buying a Camry and that's a big 'no-no'.

About time they released some pictures of it..
Looks quite good in red i must say.

Looks good, but really how are you going to put 204kw through the front wheels on that thing, thats what about 280ish Hp..... Its going to be a front wheel drive phyco like a Alfa 147GTA all over again.....

the new lexus ES 300 also has 280bhp, same goes to the Tarago equivalent in Hong Kong :D

but yea, the Aurion looks like an amazing car, does anyone else think it looks like the new commodore from the front?

Nice looking mid-range sedan, the outside seems to try to hard though, but not a bad looking car, the inside of it looks brilliant though.

hmmm that seems to be the Toyota Corolla back here in Malaysia.

The back looks like a Honda Accord (Malaysian vers) to me

Anyone else find it kinda looks like a mazda 6 meets holden hsv sedan ( I think thats what the holden is called?)

The front fascia's a bit fussy, but it looks better than any other Toyota I've seen in a while.

I am sitting here trying to think of something to say about this. I don't like it...but I can't say why.

I agree that the front is too busy. I like the bit in the middle, but it looks like they have just tried to make it look "mean". And again I don't like the back....but I can't put my finger on why. It just looks boring and bland, but like they have slapped stuff on to try and make it cool.

I also don't like the interior. It looks very bland and like there is a lot of plastic in there. It reminds me of that silver plastic they use on laptop covers. I also really hate that gear box pattern. Toyota and Lexus both use it but I think it looks strange and was annoying when I drove a Lexus IS250.

Sadly, although I really don't like it this would still be my second choice for an Australian built car. Holden is first, I'm waiting for my Calais V, and although I don't really like the Camry it is a very good car for the price. Ford is well behind, but they do have a chance to catch up with the new Falcon. And the 380 would be my final choice, but I understand the appeal it has for fleet buyers.

I like it

X2 exactly. But spot the auto box.

that is definetly not the toyota corolla in malaysia, the Corolla Altis only has a 1.8l, this one has a 3.0 V6

It looks pretty good. Like a more boy-racer version of the Lexus IS we get in the US. But I think I like the Lexus IS more.

I think it's based of the new Toyota Camry in US
