A1 GP China

haha, what a mess. I looked are a drawing of the track, theres like one curve in the whole track, and the rest is long straights with really tight turns. and that hair-pin more like u-turn looks very hard even for normal cars, not sure how wide the road is though.

If it wasn't so serious a screw-up, it'd be funny.

Oh wait, it's still hilarious

Pic shamelessly stolen from F1 Racing

I saw video's of it in the news just now... it was just so funny watching how every driver was trying to take a different line, everyone had to kick the tail out to complete the hairpin

They haven't learnt - a similar thing happen when the DTM went to China a couple of years ago.

didn't a sprinkler that popped up from the grass right after the Apex in Shanghai wrecked the underbody of a V8 Supercar last year?

Qualifying results:
A1 Team Netherlands take pole in Beijing

It has just been officially confirmed that A1 Team Netherlands will start from pole position in tomorrow?s Sprint race. Due to problems with a manhole cover on the circuit the qualifying was cancelled. Aw, they should've just tell the drivers drift thru it. j/k :p

Worst hairpin ever. That was an ill conceived street course.

Man I watched this race last night, and I was so disappointed that Canada crashed on the final part of the race, the driver though was fantastic made my country and I proud.
