BELLMEAD- A four-year-old hugged his teachers aide and was put into in-school suspension, according to the father. But La Vega school administrators have a different story.

Damarcus Blackwell's four-year-old son was lining-up to get on the bus after school last month, when he was accused of rubbing his face in the chest of a female employee.

The prinicipal of La Vega Primary School sent a letter to the Blackwells that said the pre-kindergartener demonstrated "inappropriate physical behavior interpreted as sexual contact and/or sexual harassment."

Blackwell says it's ridiculous that the aide would misread a hug from a four-year-old. Blackwell wrote to administrators demanding that the whole incident be expunged from his son's academic file because his son is too young to know what it means to act sexually.

David Davis, the executive director of the Advocacy Center in Waco tends to agree with Blackwell. He says assuming the boy has not had sexual encounters, or been inappropriately exposed to pornography, most four-year-olds are sexually innocent.

Blackwell got a response from the La Vega administration. The sexual references on the discipline referral were removed. But the thing that makes Blackwell most upset is they told him "your request for an apology by the aide and removal of all paperwork regarding this incident is denied." Now the young student's file will refer to the incident as "inappropriate physical contact." And Blackwell says he will continue to fight the district.

La Vega I.S.D. administrators told News Channel 25 they couldn't comment on this case because of student privacy issues.

Yeah, unfortunately you're right. Our litigiousness has gone too far and it needs to be stopped. Now.

Kids at that age are completely innocent, they have no idea about sex or sexual misconduct and whatever employee can't accept that needs to find a new job.

I'm surprised that this was even allowed to happen in the state of Texas, so I'm thinking that this teacher (or aide, whatever) must not be from the Lonestar State.

Next thing you know, they're going to sue men for getting a hard on when we look at women...

It's possible that he did rub his face in her chest. Now obviously he didn't do it for any sexual reasons, but maybe he saw something similar on tv.....

Right, but he's a child, it was like playing with a hand for him. Just telling him it's not a thing to do would have been more appropriate.
 
HE'S FOUR FREAKING YEARS OLD, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!! What's amazing is how utterly stupid the school's officials are that they actually believe that a kindergarten student has the capacity and understanding of "sexual harassment".

His parents should pull him out of school immediately and start home-schooling. The public education system isn't so much for learning as it is for conforming. Sheesh.
 
Must of been a very tall 4 year old or a midget teacher for him to touch her tits. Still a load of bollocks though, the kids 4 the school should of left ti be instead of crating a fuss.
 
Fucking disgraceful! How on earth would a four year old know that a hug would turn into to something as stupid as this! Ugh, ridiculous.
 
this is ridiculous... so is everyone that I hugged (I may or may not have placed my face on their chest, I can't remember) but if I do, are all of them going to sue me now?

Kids just like hugging and placing their head against your chest regardless of whether you're a guy or girl, 10 bucks says that kid would hug a guy in the same way (head on the chest)
