Car junkies, get out your drool rags. The Forza Motorsport 2 team today revealed the first list of cars scheduled to appear in the upcoming Xbox 360 racer. Part one of the six-part series concentrates on European exotics, with rides from Porsche, Maserati, Lamborghini, and Ferrari.

Developer Turn 10 and publisher Microsoft Game Studios also announced the European release date of the game. Like its North American counterpart, Forza 2 Motorsport will hit Europe in May 2007 because the team "felt it was only right for Forza Motorsport 2's online community...to release the game on a global level simultaneously."

...i thought the graphics are supposed to be a lot better than the first one? well, they look the same to me.

also, why play racing game if u dun want a realistic feel? if i want to play arcade, i'd go on yahoo and play tetris, way more fun than hitting brake on a controller and see the thing with the four wheels do a slide. really, racing sim's for u to drive cars that u cant buy...well for me personally.

#1 The graphics are a mile ahead.

#2 the game is realistic.

Either you are blind or stupid enough not to click the yellow bar above the image on this site of the thread... The 997 Turbo is en par to the 599 they have in the GT:HD thing on the ps3...

Also hearing the game is worryingly far from completion even tho a release date has been set, that would explain the plastic spokes on the S15 then ...

Mmmmmm .... 296bhp N/A ....

Does anyone know what the story is with Drive train swaps is ? I've heard about converting from AWD to RWD but only if that manufacturer has a RWD car in its line up ? I'm thinking / hoping fro some RWD Evo's & 22B's :)

^ There is a video on gamevideos.com where the producer of the game tells you what they do with drivetrain swaps. Basically, its like this: What has been done by the tuning scene will be in it, and what they believe is possible for cars that haven't been tuned like that will be possible...

That is proper good news, Its great to see them getting out there and researching the different aspects of the motoring world. I know there's what, only 300 odd cars in it, but with drivetrain swaps and the amount of modifications in it, I'd rather have 300 cars with that much potential than GT's billions of cars with fairly mild tuning ...

*sigh* I hate consoles with a passion, but I may have to push ahead my sister's plan to buy a 360...

with the elite coming out, used premiums are dirt cheap...

i wouldn't call GT4 tuning fairly mild... i spend hours in the suspension and transmission screens not to mention the diffs. frankly all the crap about graphics and paint i find to be useless.

must pressure M$ to let Turn10 write in G25 support so i don't have to use their crappy M$ force feed back wheel of shittyness
