(they guy is also planning to rebuild an astra to be rwd, he's waiting for the bare shell he bought from opel)

Possibly......since the law has changed to make importing cars easier now.
I've seen a Ferrari 348 in a student parking lot a while ago at a local university here......many Porsches, and tons of Merc's and BMW's........Rose Garden users should know what I'm talking about

I went to see the c30 yesterday.....amazing car! It was also there in pearl white with brown metallic spoilers and rims....so cool.....and I saw an Orange new S3, a cool S8 and a RS4 Wagon ;D

there are many more that others and myself noted spotting, but didn't take pictures of, but you can read about them in the thread i linked.

i didn't bother posting more common cars like evo, s2000, m3, m5, sl-55; cars seen at the nearby race tracks; or pictures people didn't take themselves (like stock footage).
there are a ton a modified 911's in the area that i wish i had pictures of to post for y'all. i live in an area that has the highest concentration of persons with phd's in the world, a professional hockey team, a few major universities, and major divisions or headquarters of hundreds of corporations. research, textiles, technologies, and banking are the main source of wealth. so, there are a ton of affluent 20-40 year olds who like to buy really nice cars.

f355 on campus. see that building with the flags on it? the 2nd floor is mitch's tavern. the bar scene in bull durham was shot there.
continental gt at our spring football game (it's an exhibition practice held a few months before the new season starts).
a beautifl '69 camaro.
another gt (different plate than the one above) parked at a downtown restaurant.
driving down i-40 towards raleigh. he probably just left work in rtp (research triangle park).
outside a campus dorm.
more gt's at the mall.

hahaha! i never noticed the parking, but you're right! people like to protect their investments, so i can't get mad at them. however, it annoys the piss out of me when i see something like a honda civc double park.
