I think i saw a Range Rover Sport today. Was driving the opposite way and i had both hands on the wheel, so no piccies.

Also sat in a brand new BMW 750. Not really as rare are saffron, but it's HUGE!

I know this isn't a "car" per se, but it did spend some time travelling (quickly) on the ground during its life. A friend and myself were in Seattle yesterday and took some pictures while there...getting our bikes into this position was a little risky, as the museum had closed a few hours before, and Boeing security showed up shortly after to "escort" us from the grounds...can anyone identify the plane? :p

I think that might be a Concorde, not sure.

:p

I think it was the first 737, which blew an engine on the second flight...NASA took it for a transport systems research vehicle. Here's one in front of the first presidential jet, former Air Force 1 707:

We had what we thought would be an awesome shot, with the bikes under one of the engines, but my friend couldn't keep his thumb out of the way.

Anyone in the Washington area should totally check out the museum, its more than just a couple planes sitting around...you get to play with the simulators and jump all over stuff, really worth the trip. Sorry to go off topic...

For anyone who likes planes, the Museum of Flight up here in Seattle is just an orgy of aircraft. Air Force 1, Concorde, SR-71, classic wood planes, some WW2 planes. Oh yeah, one of Boeing's plants right next door on the appropriately named Boeing field. It's one of the best museums I've ever been into :)

The Evergreen Aviation Museum is a goody too. It has the Spruce Goose and lots more (including a SR-71 parked UNDER the Spruce Goose's wing!).

The Spruce Good is effin' huge... and it's made out of wood! Stupid war economy...

Look at this... the wingspan of it so much more than the A380 even.
