Corvette Z07 suspension testing with Ferrari 599

Not if the right side and 3rd brake light have both failed....
Err...guys, that "brake lights" thing was a joke, so if you're ACTUALLY criticizing the Corvette for that...<_<

This, the Cadillac Cien is what I'm referring to:

7.5 liter 4 cam Aluminum v12 producing 750hp and 450lb-ft of torque.

Right.... because that makes more sense then... signaling.

no too mention, braking in the middle of a highspeed bank doesn't make much sense either. then again, neither does signal on a closed test course.

whatever the reason, does it really fucking matter? some of you will bitch about anything.

I would love to see an American car that can compete with Ferrari. While the Corvette may be able to match it around a track, it will never rival Ferrari in other departments.

Well The Corvette absolutely hammers the Ferrari 599 around the track.. 8)

Of course not. But you can buy like 3 Corvettes for the price of a Ferrari. :p

That might have to be 6 Corvettes! I was in Las Vegas this past weekend and strolled by the Wynn Ferrari dealership where they had a slightly used 599 GTB for sale at...$600,000. I know that dealer is overpriced compared to other Ferrari dealers, but goodness, 2x markup is a little excessive.

i hate it when they do that

a car should have 3 distinct areas in its lights. normal ones, indicators and brake lights

i can't even count how many times i almost plowed in the rear of some american pickup at night, caus i didn't notice he started brakeing

This car cost a few people their jobs at DCX because it made the Mercedes/Mclaren engineers look like idiots wasting money on the SLR project.

Rumor has it that the project is back on thanks to the buy out.

I really, really hope so. This car could make people pay attention to Chrysler for the proper reasons again.

I hate Dodge/Chrysler with a passion but I'd love to see that thing made (properly, not the like the Viper is...which is built like shit). Maybe it'll give the US engineers a little respect that we've only been losing for decades.

got a reference for that, i've never heard that before

Dieter reportedly got beaten up pretty badly over this, and it may even have been one of the reasons why Wolfgang Bernhard was "de-selected" from the Mercedes-head job. Nothing screams "healthy corporation" like turf wars, right?

That page is keeping up with any changes that happen with the car.

Good to see GM is making sure it can turn left really well. :p

Of course, wasting money by having a car out of the prototype phase, finished and on sale. What were they thinking? ;)

Anyway on topic; I can't imagine the 599 is that unrealistic a goal to be honest. We know how well the Z06 stacked up to better cars purely on track times. I can see this being almost as fast as any front engined car.

Turning left is all an American car needs. NASCAR FTW. :p (And I am JOKING, so if you have a low sensibility to jokes, yes, It was a joke).
