What decade is your cutoff for old vs new cars?

if it was built before i was born it's old... so 71-80

I said 1981 to 1990. I don't think there are any cars older than 1980 that I would be interested in. That said, also, there are only a few cars I would consider from the 80's, namely a 300ZX or a 5L Mustang.

as mentioned you are missing out a quite a few really really really awesome cars there
 
i can't believe there is nobody old enough on these boards to remember cars from the 1920s, or 1930s, being old or dead is no excuse to not chime in!
 
I sure remember them - but the question is when we would draw a line to consider a car to be a classic car - and that's long time after the "Golden Ages" for me.
