Official photos and Info: The new 5.2 V10 Twin-turbo 580 Hp Audi RS6 Avant.

Wow.

OMG that is just epic. Understated yet it looks like it'll knock your teeth out if you look at it the wrong way. Like a Mafia hitman in an Armani suit. I love the way they've resisted the urge to festoon it with winglets and gills while adding a couple of cues that throw back to the Quattro. It makes even the M5 look cheap and nasty in comparison. Bravo, Audi, bravo.

Yeh but the S6 is meant to do it in 5.2 or something.....I haven't seen a review where it gets below 6 seconds yet.

I love the looks of it! :woot:

But I would still prefer the M5 Touring. It has been always the same with the RS's, put always a bigger more powerful engine than the M and end up being not as good as the M on the road and in the track.

But as I said, this is a relly stunning car!!! And I love the interior aswell! Good job Audi!

Beautiful. I'll have one in white, please.

5.2 liter twin turbo v10 with 580bhp and 650nm and the numbers are underwhelming?

4.6 to 60 is pretty damn swift. for an estate.

That's about how quick the M5 Touring, E-class AMG wagon, the RS4 Avant are to 60mph. I'd just get the RS4 if I had to choose.

makes me forget all about the LegacyGT wagon

The M5 touring is 4.8 it is slightly slower then the sedan which is 4.6.

I said "about", and with nearly 600hp I was expecting more impressive numbers from the RS6.

Do Want!:woot::thumbsup:

imagine all those soccermoms going :driving: with this car..

I'd love to :burnrubber: just to annoy the hell out of all those turbocharged E30 BMW's in that wagon..:thumbup:

Turbo's doesnt kick in before you get a bit high up in the revs, so that could be a part of the reason. If the engine wouldnt have turbo's, I'd guess it would have 500hp - thereabout.

However, modern turbo's isnt as laggy as the old ones so I do get your point. :)

At high speeds tho, the RS6 will prolly make mince meat out of the M5.

HAHAHAHAHAHA

what was that?? can you say understeer???

hahahahahaha

Very nice Audi, this is not a car for your family. :p
