We're back down to just one server, but nothing else is really on this server CPU wise, so in the end, we have more power.

However yeah, it wasn't enough, so Quiky's considering going uber in terms of power. :lol:

Apache and MySQL also need some retooling as I think we can get more out of this box.

Yeah, vB has an option to turn away users when the server's load gets too high. This avoids having like 15-30 second page load times (which would happen on the old forum).

It was set at 25, but I've bumped it up to 35. This may result in a little slower site, but should allow more people on the forums.

We will announce the specs once the server arrives.. It is a monster. And nobody will ever believe what we got it for.

We're gonna replace this one. Too spendy, at least at this time, to host two again. Plus, this new box will be a beast, so two shouldn't be needed.
