2003 Chevy Trailblazer LTZ
Hey, this is my 2003 Chevy Trailblazer. I'd really like to hear Jermey comment on tis engine, a 4.2 I6. I think it'd be very interesting because it is a wonderful engine. Likes to rev and makes lots of power. Its a great car, erm Truck, overall. I even have some mods 8) PCM4less Tuned and a KN Intake. Not to mention other mods that are visual.

These pics are old. But they let you see it. I have many dif mods now :p

Its got all the goodies (sunroof, leather, heated seats, everything)

I like it. :p Its my V6 Mustang, Civic, Galant, Taurus, Jeep, Durango, Explorer and many more car, slayer 8)

Looking good. What type of mods have you done to it?

Sucks that the engine will no longer be produced. Seemed like it had great potential and it performed in the off road racing program fairly well I believe.

My buddy has a 02 LTZ 2wd and it's pretty quick off the line (he has the 4.10 gears in the towing package) but the aerodynamics catch up with it around 60-70 mph and it runs out of steam.

Anyway he's got 80xxx miles and it's falling to pieces, but thats just because of the way he drives it. A swaybar endlink actually bent the piece of suspension it was attached to, the rear shocks are leaking fluid, the engine stalls when the a/c is on, etc etc etc...

Yea, it really blows that they will be cutting the Envoy/Trailblaszer, w/e in 09 or 10.

I ran a 15.6@87 in the 1/4 and i was next to a Durango on the track. He ran 16s, came up and asked me what mods i had done to my V8.... im like, Its a 6 cyl. And he was all like "WHAT! NO WAY!" He probably bought a TB. :D it owns the Explorer and Durango in pretty much everything.

Mods i have done... hmm:pCM Tuned, KN Intake, Roofrack Cross bars removed, debadged, vent visors, a bug shield, clear turn light signals on the mirrors, a chrome Chevy bowtie, a 12" sub in the cargo area... ah that covers it.

Im getting hotchis sway bars, a drop kit and some 20" Boss 316s for it to.

If you get the swaybars soonish let us know how you like them ...

Any shock recommendations?

Im swapping my gears for 4:10s. I have 3.43s or w/e is in their now, and althouhh ti sucks off the line, its REALLY ncie at 80. YOu punch my truck at 80 and it will pull to its 115mph limiter VERY quickly. The aerodynamics dont effect it to much.

No idea on shocks. i have a buddy who already did this. i gotta get the info from him. Its gonna be like $500 for both the sways and shocks.

And yep. If they woulda put this in the colorado instead of that horrible i-5, the Colly woulda been a sleeper.
