Your ONE car ultimate garage.... just one

^ The thread is basically "post which car do you think looks the best". You posted a picture of a Cayenne.

I think it looks good lol

The new one is buttugly. i like the old one.

But i guess, this car looks good to me

No 300 SEL 6.3? I prefer the Beast over the Pullman :)
Yeah, that or a 450SEL 6.9 - they're both great. The 600 is something much, much more however.

John Lennon. Frank Sinatra. Idi Amin. Mao Zedong. Hugh Hefner. Imagine chillin' with those guys down in hell. I bet 600 owners have their own special section. A 'clubhouse' if you will. Pretty exclusive group you'd be in. You'd be like: "Sorry Kennedy; You can't come in because you only had a Lincoln. Anyway, Aristotle Onassis is already in here and I doubt you two would get along. No hard feelings. You know how it is. We can still see each other outside of eternal damnation."

I should note that I'd actually want the standard wheelbase 4-door sedan rather than the Pullman because 1) I'd be driving it myself and wouldn't need all that extra seat action and b) the standard wheelbase looks much nicer and is nicer to drive.

ahh that's an easy one

Bye! :p I'll see you at your funeral.

HSV GTO Coupe Signature

coupe_sig.jpg

Bucket loads of lazy V8 Power, big fun, big comfortable seats, giant boot, big enough in the back for adults, looks fantastic, and you don't look like a massive wank driving it.

But I'd probably slap a supercharger on it

I doubt it...I think they just made one. I don't understand why everyone abandoned the idea of straight lines. It seems like Lamborghini are the only ones still doing it (and the Ferrari Enzo but IMO they failed on its design). If I can't have the Carabo I'll probably get a Countach 5000QV and pay a ridiculous amount of money to Lamborghini to convert its electrics to something Audi-ish:)

I think this car looks just BRILLIANT! This is my fav

Realistically? The car i have been dreaming about buying, mainly for looks and sound is one of these, with tailights from the older GT model, such as shown below, also with a color matched "Andretti" spoiler :)

having driven one i can easily say that it NEEDS a steering wheel extension, luckily they do make those so maybe i can own one (comfortably) someday

Also, i know its a strange profile (the GTV6) but that front end with those (older GT) taillghts is exactly what i want in a car. Its somehow both muscular and passionate, like Michael Angelo "David", except without all the exposed crotches. Alot of good things about the way it drives as well.

Unrealistically?
looks only?

duh!

Hmm my pick, since the 300SL gullwing has already been posted I'll have to go with a backup
Ferrari/Dino 246 GT

If the rules allowed modified cars, I would most likely go with a 60's Buick.

new one:
1990 mdl Mercedes 190E Cosworth 2.5 16V
The only problem with that is it looks to boy racer, especially with it being a Benz. I know all of it's functional, but doesn't make it look good. the non EVO versions are actually quite good looking though.

^ The Dino was already posted too you unoriginal bastard!

^^ I just picked up a set of those wheels for my 190 today

And i thought long and hard about having just one car based on looks alone, I just can't do it. So it'll be one of the beast-saloons by Mercedes-Benz, the 300SEL 6.3, 450SEL 6.9 or the E60 AMG. My heart says the 300 6.3, the mind says that the E60 is better with all it's modern gizmos :p Can't i just have all 3 of em? :p

Fiat Grande Punto

Based on looks alone, it would be the Fiat. Dammit it is a fucking good looking car IMO.

After that, Mercedes started making crap.
Good pick.

Picking one car for your garage, ultimate or not, would land you with something like a TVR 350C.

TorqueOmata386.jpg

So you'll end up walking and taking the bus to work instead of driving there, because it would break down all the time and finding a part takes three months if you're lucky, and before you've fixed it some other issue comes along so you never get to drive your pretty-ass car. Therefore you'll get exactly ZERO tang, because you'll be some guy who works on his car all the time, instead of the guy who drives the cool car. Eventually, the girl(s) you've set your eyes on will all be banged by Astra and Golf drivers who're better at life than you.

Nice job on real-world relevance there, mate. :p

That said, if a fairy sprinkled magic dust over a 350C so that it doesn't break down, need maintenance, fuel, never kills me and doesn't smell, I wouldn't want another car. :D
