2008 FIA Fomula 1 Rules "Cheat Sheet"

Hey I just saw that on Digg too! It's an interesting read. I actually like the new regs about the starter, telemetry, and chassis because they're pretty much the only ones I can see the point of. The issue of customer cars is going to be a touchy subject I reckon.

The best one as far as I am concerned is the no tyre warmers rule. That, coupled with no TC, is going to make for some fun starts.

Hugh opportunity for corruption here then, with all the stuff supplied by designated suppliers. Would not like to be the supplier of the electronics if it kept going wrong in a Ferrari - loose their contract PDQ.

Errr am I the only one that sees this article as what it is.......i.e rubbish???

This article states there is going to be reduced aero, slick tyres, no tyre warmers, customer cars and manual gearboxes. None of which is going to take place in 2008!!

The starter motor idea has been around for a while and I think its a good one. Its ridiculous that anti-stall decides whether you can keep going or not.

Bullshit article right there. Foot operated clutch? Restricted V10s? Slick tires for 2008? Where the hell does this author get his information from?!

Yeah its alot of b.s. Slicks will be coming back in 09, bridgestone tested them with the teams in spain a few weeks back.
