Scary parking space.

It isnt a fourth mirror, just the regular passenger side mirror placed further forward. I would say it gives a bigger view and the driver can see it through the windscreen - this would reduce the risk of it being blocked by a passenger and means the driver doesn't have to turn his head/take eyes off the road as much. You only really see them on taxis now, but there were some cars that had them, even European ones.

Yes that's me, the gaijin in the GTR. Notice the shit-eating grin. That car is officially awesome.

It was at an event in Odaiba at the Fuji TV building called odaiba hot fantasy. My dad just wanted to see the architecture but I got to see the GTR.

I also saw one in Kyoto on the road. Didn't have my cam handy. Also saw a 430 in Roppongi, but had no cam.

Stuff the Phantom, I'm more interested in the Triumph Bonneville with the dual pea-shooter exhausts in front of it!

Are these things sold overseas?

First of all, awesome pics of Japan!! Arigatou!!

And for the Mitsu, I think Canada is going to have a few coming in a year or two's time. I saw it on TV a while ago, and the CEO of Mitusbishi Canada was saying that some of the smaller Japanese cars would be converted to left hand drive for use in North America, specifically Canada first because it's a smaller market to test new products.
