I didn't know my picture was going to start a debate. I just shoot for target practice, it's fun! It was a rented gun anyways, no point in owning a pistol. My family has two rifles (both are .22s), it is a test of skill just like driving on a circuit is a test of skill, would there still be an argument if it was a bow and arrow or a crossbow?

Shooting targets is all about skill, not about the fact that you are shooting something that goes bang (well for most people anyway).
