    MX5/Miata Thread

Thanks guys for the response! Pretty much the same response occurred when I spoke to a couple of my coworkers who one races miatas and another who has had six of them...the "style bars" is something I need to look out for since there popular add ons here in the bay area (which may have created...

Pulses...pops..chatter...common to boxers with piston slap. Initially due to the 2.5 block on EJ25s it would be due to the bore dimensions. Im surprised even with the new block it does the same, with the Toyota DI and also the 86mmx86mm bore of the block...On older blocks the recommendation is...

Subaru changed there oil spec on 2.5s and 2.0s when they had issues on the Turbo blocs back in 08 due to banjo bolt filter issues....lead to commonality out here.

    MX5/Miata Thread

So...been hunting for NAs and NBs (96s and 99s roughly) and this came up on my Craigslist RSS feed: (Not from me, the poster) DO NOT DRIVE A STREET CAR WITH A ROLLBAR CLOSE ENOUGH TO HIT YOUR HEAD UNLESS YOU'RE WEARING A HELMET!! So many...

    Yet Another Tesla Fire

Just for more referencing this is what Edmunds did with there Model S to give more visualization of the damage: The front stack (which what is being compromised) is way behind this sub frame and in front of that is: steering rack and master cylinder for the brakes. Also in all three cases...

I'm going to the US, what to do in San Jose...?

Sigh....there is only one thing good about LaVics...the Orange sauce. Just go to LaVics to get the sauce and then go to Iguanas around the corner to get the burrito... Could also go to Grande Pizzeria...around 6.00 USD for a pitcher during happy hour...which is usually 7 till 9. I go to SJSU...

Ownership Verified: New car. Now, wiith Added Granola!(1997 Subaru Legacy Outback)

Well the EJ25 is truthfully a solid motor...once the HG's are done properly. Luckily you have that buttoned up so you can start looking at possibly doing a cold air intake or swapping the 2.5 intake for an older 2.2 intake which doesnt have a throttle box and provides a slight bump (2-3HP)...

Welcome to the wonderful world of Subaru. I had an old 98 and ended breaking my cupholders. Such a horrid piece of design. Id look over at and NastySock (Nasioc) for ideas. Any plans?

Food! [The thread that started this section]

Definitely, but adding some lemon especially with a yogurt based marinade allows the the spices to sink in a little more, plus with all the curry/masala flavoring, I like a bit of lemon to offset the spice.

Food! [The thread that started this section]

A lot of indian restaurants end up using heavy cream to marinade the chicken/create the tikka sauce. Sour cream will suffice. You may need to add lemon to get a bit more strength with the sour cream.

    Quick HEALTY recipes

^Frozen food. Good for raw veggies/fruits meats...but meals. Eeep. Usually I go with simple food that has high protein/fiber values. Dal (Lentils) are fantastic in that category...boil a cup for a good 15-20 min and you got a great source of protein and carbs. Throw in some bread or tortillas...

    The Big Rig thread!

Indians inefficient?? I beg to differ, especially since I work and have many family involved in IT here in the Bay Area alone that have progressed much faster than there counterparts... But most Indian manufacturers don't go the Chinese method of copying cars. They get licenses and then just...

    The Gun thread

Sadly, they have a point. Unlike police in the USA, Indian police are easily bribed by money and ministers and have a severe "two faced" attitude when it comes to law enforcement. India being a huge democracy has many leaps and bounds before issues like these can be resolved.
