In this case some members of the german "touristenfahrer.de" board made a little "wintertrip" to sign the entrance. Touris is the short form of Touristenfahrer - the group of people doing tourist laps and meeting on the board.

It belongs to rent-racecar.de and can be rented to drive the Ring. They have M3, GTI, Megane R26 and other stuff, too.

The event has nothing to do with F1. It is a trackday from RMA Club --> Club Site Yes, its a V8 Star. The V8 series started in 2001 and ended again in 2005 if I?m right. Cars have been technically totally the same. Same Chassis, same 5.7litre V8 engines with about 500PS, same tyres... Only...

This is the GLP - a racing series for beginners. Very popular in the moment. And that?s called "Lucas Trophy". It?s a fun bycicle race for people from the automotive industry.

Gates in the back are closed. Looks like they have to report an accident. During tourist times they have to come if something was damaged or someone got hurt. That was Sabine Schmitz driving the SLR. She will test drive it this week for a german TV Show.

This sounds VERY different from the Gumball HQ?s version to me!

I tried hard.:D Made about 12 shots in this three laps. On most of them you would find more track than car - but on 2 or 3 it is quiet ok. I didn?t notice this thread before I postet the picture in the photography section - I think it was too late for me to be 100% concentrated.:D

Yesterday the BMW F1-Team with the driver Nick Heidfeld drove 3 laps on the N?rburgring Nordschleife. It was amazing seeing the car racing the track and hearing it scream through the forests. Here?s one of my pictures:
