[22x08] June 28th, 2015 [The Final Clarkson, Hammond, & May Episode]

I think the show went out with a wimper which is a shame. As much as I wanted to see the final films they made I almost wish it just ended with ep 7. The elephant in the room is funny, but I think Russell Brand did it better in 2008 when he hosted the VMA awards. The classic cars was a...

Lets help get Jeremy, Richard and James hired at Netflix!

I disagree that a petition is pointless in this case. It does serve one really good purpose, it shows that there is demand. But on the other hand, they already know who watches the episodes on their service. They could probably accurately predict how many people would watch new episodes. The...

Best episode in the series for me, although with the Jag film I might be biased. I agree with most of the complaints Jeremy had, squeaky seat (I'm 6'3"), the touchscreen sucks, blind spots are huge. However as a daily driver, it is very easy to drive the Coupe R quietly. Take it out of dynamic...

Can't wait to see the F-Type Coupe R review. Especially after Hammond wrecked one in the last Road Trip dvd.

    Holy Trinity Battle

If it isn't at the Top Gear track then none of it matters. They all think they are competing against each other. They aren't, I want to see how they stack up against the hundreds of other cars around the TG test track.

Disagree completely. The Top Gear track and the Powerlap board provides a very interesting comparison that extends beyond those three cars. It is something you can go back to through a history of vehicles. The consistency of the track (as long as it is dry) and the fact that it is mostly laps...

No one sent guards. That is just scripted TV hyperbole. Thought this was the worst of the season so far. Love the Cayman, love the Stingray yet they made both look so boring. Their car films on the top gear track are getting so generic that you can just start swapping in different footage of...

Thanks, but I was referring to the sound it makes, not what is actually under the hood...err boot. Sorry that wasn't exactly clear.

Really? That's what you are going with? Let's see, 0-60 Times Prius - 10.9sec i8 - 3.8sec Top Speed Prius - 107mph i8 - 155mph (limited) Looks Prius - pretty much universally described as ugly, boxy, pedestrian i8 - Was the halo car in a Mission Impossible movie. Has design features not seen...

Yes, it looks great and menacing from the front and then you start to walk around to the back and promptly puke. About as bad as a Crossfire and Panamera. The interior is pretty sexy though. Enjoyed the episode from start to finish.

Only episode in recent memory to make me laugh out loud. The tending to the patients while the Stig took them around the track was hilarious. The final race, not as much but still some good laughs throughout. Some of you really need the sticks removed from thy posteriors.

The word you are looking for is "scope". The series is already in wide screen. They just took it a further step to a cinemascope ~2.35:1 aspect ratio. I agree it wasn't needed. Ok start to the series. The race had a few good lines, Richard's crashed looked harsh. I'm sure he got some good road...

    Season 4 is already over?

I just found it odd since I believe before this season started they said it was going to be 16 eps. 6 for the first part, a break then 10 more. Instead we just got 4 more which is a far cry from 10. Hell 6 would have been at least reasonable. Oops and I meant season 5. For some reason History...

    Season 4 is already over?

I see History.com has listed the 10th episode (The Appalachian Trail) as the season finale. I thought we were getting 10 episodes for the second half of the season making a total of 16 for the season. That's pretty disappointing after shoving in a 2 month break. Any news of it being renewed for...
