The Jordan segment was funny to me, for one reason. The repetition of them starting over again, and doing things exactly over again as filmed before was hilarious.
It's not a new thing to comedy but it always works. Here's a good example.
I even liked The American more this week.
One of my favorite episodes. One question for the Europeans here (and apologies if this has been asked before), what the hell is Spunk? The way Jeremy sold it going down the hatch didn't make it seem very tasty. The name alone (in the US anyway) is slang for something you probably wouldn't want...
I seem to remember Jeremy cutting himself on some sheet metal once, struggling to remember the episode though.
I remember reading about James' concussion in the Middle East before the episode even aired.
I watched this again recently. What kind of trips me up is Clarkson's line about the nearest hospital being 1,500 miles away (if I remember right he said it not long after he and May set off). Apologies if this has been discussed before, but was that true or a little embellished for TV?
Must admit I had a nice laugh at Jeremy re-creating the bicycle scenes from Butch Cassidy And The Sundance Kid, one of my favorite movies as well. Kind of bummed this wasn't done with a live audience so they could do their Christmas gift segment during the news that they haven't been able to do...
