TIL that there is a Triumph dealership in town...curious.
We have a 'Compo at work. It's been on display in the back of our City Turbo for a couple of years, but I used to ride it around the museum. Inside and outside.

You might want to see if you can somehow fit a 919 regulator/rectifier in there somewhere. Ours basically never blow up, but they do have an enormous heatsink:
I recently upgrade the R/R on my SV. Honda CBR R/R are supposed to be an enormous improvement over stock. I've gotten a FH008EB out of a 2007 CBR1000RR for $25 on ebay. Being a MOSFET unit you get constant voltage across the rev range and much less heat output than my stock unit. I'd recommend it.

In sadder news, Victory is dead.
In the motorcycle world branding is king, and Victory ain't no Indian.
Also, Carl Fogarty. That's a name I haven't heard in a while.
Also, I think the original Speed Triple with twin round headlights aged really well...

My album from the IMS in Dallas is up. Mainly snapped old stuff, per usual. Managed to find MWF's American cousin eyeing the 1299 Superleggera
As a result of the new subway extension here I haven't ridden my bike in months. My four year old battery killed itself in protest. I installed a new battery and will get to see what else has broken itself tomorrow.
